It’s very difficult to find an English-speaking diving instructor in Moscow. We are seven! Diving Club & School of MSU have seven qualified and experienced English-speaking diving instructors PADI & TDI on staff. They teach a full range of courses from PADI Open Water Diver to PADI Assistant Instructor and TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor! You can start and finish the beginner, PADI Open Water Diver course, in Moscow. The lectures are done in the classroom in our main office (Serpukhovskij val, 6), pool sessions – in the swimming pool in the main building of Moscow State University, open water dives are done in the lakes around Moscow.
Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver courses are constructed of lectures in the main office and specialized dives (according to PADI standards) in the lakes near Moscow or other regions close to the capital. Lectures are done during a week, while all the open water activity is usually in weekends.
PADI Divemaster course could be complicated, because it demands assistance in the teaching process. Most of our students are Russians hardly speaking English, so that knowledge of some Russian is highly desirable, unless we have English speaking students on Open Water level in the same time.
Specialty courses are suitable for those who want to try something different and special. Our instructors are qualified to teach most of the courses available in SCUBA-diving. The most interesting courses that could be done here are Ice Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Underwater Photographer, Boat Diver, Night Diver, and Underwater Navigator.
Semi-Closed Rebreather course TDI is one of the top-desired courses among experienced divers since recently. We offer to pass SCR course in the mysterious emerald waters of freshwater lakes near Moscow, what allows You approach very closely the most shy and hiding animals. The course takes a couple of lectures and four open water dives during one weekend.
Deep Technical Diving is for those, who want to explore the greater deeps. TDI courses from Advanced Nitrox to Advanced Trimix are available all year round. Since it’s hard to find a depth of 100 m for trimix diving here in the lakes, we practice tek diving in the Red Sea.
